EY Wellington

Sharp signs was invited to partner with Ernst Young and its fit-out management company Savills International.
The project was to convert existing building signage into a very large new corporate logo. This was to be the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

The signage was to be installed both sides of the 21 story Majestic Centre, this is Wellingtons tallest building.

We had to first interpret the new brand manual then source components from the USA and finally supply samples into Australia for approval.
Once the regional brand manager was satisfied we were then able to engage PRS Limited a specialist sign installation company to work with us on the logistics for the sign installation onto the roof area and the plant room walls.

We undertook a detailed site survey and were able to resolve the installation fixing methodology around the mobile BMU tracks we then finalised the engineering and permits. Finally we engaged the local helicopter company to lift the sign components onto the staging area ready for installation by PRS staff.

While the signs were large the Industrial Design, Logistics and Project management were by far the most important aspects of the delivery.
