Sharp Signs has partnered with GAS for over 10 years, developing modular Pylon Signage to facilitate movement between different fuel grades and advertising campaigns.
When GAS acquired the Brick Street site, it required a quick rebranding process to transition from the previous brand to the Gas identity. This involved removing the old branding and ensuring the site was suitable to carry the GAS brand, providing the local community with a functional service station.
In collaboration with GAS and other providers, Sharp Signs developed a system to ensure that Pylon Pricing is consistent with Point of Sale (POS) and Pump displays, minimizing the risk of human error. This system became particularly significant following new regulations introduced in 2020.
GAS operates approximately 120 petrol stations across New Zealand. It is entirely New Zealand-owned, with most GAS-supplied petrol stations being independently owned and operated.
